4.1Attendances and Assessments
- Students must comply with the assessment and attendance guidelines rules by the IIUM.
- Attendances:
- Students must attend all 10 modules to qualify for the Certificate in Islamic Banking and Finance by IIUM.
- Should any student miss any of modules; he/she will need to attend a make up lesson in the next possible intake. An administration fees will be impose for each arrangement of make up lesson.
- CIMS and/or IIUM will not be issuing any type of certification to students who did not fulfill all the required 10 modules until he/she completes them.
- For EACH MODULES, students must be actively participating in any form of discussions and trainings. You are required to be present FOR EACH MODULE at least 80%.
- Attendance signature will be taken twice for each module. One in the morning and another one at anytime prescribe by the module’s lecturer or staff in charge.
- Assessments:
- For EACH
MODULES, students must submit all assessments and/or any form of
assessment given by their respective lecturers on or before their set
deadlines. All assessment / assignments must be submitted to CIMS or
CIMS English Islamic Bookshop at their head office of

- Attendances in all modules carries a maximum of 40% weightage on your passing mark
- Submission of all given assessments or quizzes or exam or any form of assessments by the lecturers in all modules carries a maximum of 60% weightage on your passing mark
- In order to pass, you must attained at least 50%

International Islamic
University of Malaysia (IIUM) is a renowned university in the Islamic
